I don’t know what Google is up to but all of their original links to register your website with the Google Search Engine have been eliminated. So I stumbled onto a new resource that was right in front of me!

I was logging on to my cpanel when I noticed at the very bottom there is an option that is eaactly what I needed. Did you notice the “Get in Google? button? It took one day to go from 15,000,000 ranking on Alexa to 5,900,000.

    That’s very rapid!

There are also SEO tools, a resource to Increase Your Web Traffic, a way to create your Google Sitemap, Link Building, how to Increase your Facebook traffic and great tips on creating SEO.

If you don’t see these options on your cpanel, you might want to consider transferring to HostGator so you’ll be able to take advantage of their tools.

But before you transfer your site, you’ll want to back up your database. It’s a fairly simple process, but if you have trouble with it, the tech help at HostGator will be happy to help you.

    Things have changed, yet again.

It is not even possible to register your site with Google any more. Who knows why but you can still register with Bing which has taken over Yahoo and they are the second two highest used search engines.

But I did find a service that will work for you. I registered one of my new sites and it went from 15 million to 8 million in a matter of 5 days. That is nearly the same results as when I could register my sites with Google.

The only thing is they request you put an ad on your site, which is a small price to pay for obtaining the rankings that rapidly.

So, visit  the site http://www.ineedhits.com/free-tools/submit-free.aspx?source=FTSFbutton and enter your website and look for the code to place on your site.

I added a text box in the Widgets and pasted the code in the text box under the third Footer with the RSS Feeds. That way it’s not as obtrusive and it serves their request.

Here’s three more sites to add to your list of ways of getting your site listed:

    http://bblmedia.com/addurl.html

    http://www.submitwebsiteurl.com/

    http://www.activesearchresults.com/addwebsite.php

Just remember this is only one of the methods of increasing your rankings, but it is an important one for sure.
